Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a team of Business Development Managers and Account Managers and overseeing the generation of revenue growth through selling of translation, localisation and voiceover services.
  • Coaching and motivating your team to maintain and grow a portfolio of corporate accounts and build relationships with key contacts
  • Making weekly/monthly/quarterly revenue projections and delivering on them
  • Liaising with service delivery teams
  • Managing and allocating incoming enquiries
  • Overseeing preparation of proposals and tenders
  • Maintaining knowledge of your team's target sectors and guiding them in seeking out new business opportunities

Candidate specification:

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in solution sales, preferably in the language service industry
  • Proven people management skills
  • Training and/or mentoring experience
  • Strategic thinker and team builder
  • Excellent presentational skills
  • Comfortable with frequent international travel
